From April 15th to 16th, 2025, the 2025 Genetically Modified Agricultural Products Import Safety Management Training Conference, hosted by the Science and Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, was held in Haikou City, Hainan Province. As an active participant in the domestic field of compliant import of genetically modified agricultural products, Yao Juntao, the manager of the Business Department Three of Zhongshang Liutong Trading Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "our company"), participated in the entire training.

      At the meeting, experts elaborately introduced the development and safety management situation of agricultural genetically modified biotechnology, safety management policies and safety testing requirements, and explained the customs declaration regulations and processing procedures for the import of agricultural genetically modified products, as well as the processing procedures and specific requirements for the administrative licensing matters of agricultural genetically modified biotechnology safety certificates (import). The problems encountered by enterprises in the specific processing procedures were exchanged and answered.

      The development of genetically modified agricultural products has significant advantages in increasing crop yields, reducing pests and diseases, and lowering the use of pesticides. It is of great significance for ensuring food security and promoting sustainable agricultural development.
