On May 9, 2025, Wang Sicong, the general manager of the Investment Department of China Commerce Foreign Trade Group, led a delegation to visit the Embassy of Grenada in China. Ambassador Marshall of Grenada warmly received General Manager Wang and his team.

     Ambassador Marshall introduced the current economic development situation, key industrial layout, and foreign investment preferential policies of Grenada to General Manager Wang. He stated that as an important economy in the Caribbean region, Grenada is actively promoting innovative development in sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and new energy. He expressed the hope of deepening cooperation with Chinese enterprises like China Commerce Foreign Trade Group, jointly exploring investment potential, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results. 

     President Wang introduced the core business, globalization strategy and investment achievements in overseas markets of the group to Ambassador Marshall. He stated that the unique geographical location advantage of Grenada, its open investment policy and the layout of China Business Foreign Trade Group in areas such as industrial upgrading and green economy are highly compatible. We will actively study high-quality local projects and strive to promote the early implementation of cooperation between both sides. Both sides also had a candid and in-depth exchange on the investment environment of Grenada, the development strategy of China Business Foreign Trade Group and the future direction of cooperation.

     During this meeting, both sides reached broad consensus on deepening economic and trade cooperation, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Georgia, the two countries have achieved fruitful results in trade, culture, education and other fields. China Merchants Foreign Trade Group will take this meeting as an opportunity to thoroughly implement the "going global" strategy and further contribute to the higher-quality development of the "Belt and Road Initiative" between China and Georgia.
