China´s imports of GM products have increased rapidly in recent years, and China has become a major importer of GM agricultural products. However, gm technology and its products may pose a potential threat to biodiversity and the ecological environment. Therefore, strengthening the safety management of GM agricultural imports is of great significance to protecting China´s agricultural market, strengthening agricultural safety guarantees, and improving food safety.

On September 17, the 2021 training course on the safety management of genetically modified agricultural products imports, organized by the Development Center of Science and Technology，MARA, was held in Beijing. Domestic and foreign enterprises involved in GMO import and export actively participated, and our company also sent Yao Juntao to participate.

The training content includes :an explanation of the development and safety management situation of agricultural  which is GENETICALLY modified biotechnology; Interpretation of agricultural GMO safety management policy; Explaining the procedures and specific requirements of applying for administrative license（import） of agricultural GMOs safety Certificate.

The import and sale of genetically modified agricultural products is a matter of the national economy and people´s livelihood. As an enterprise engaged in the import of GENETICALLY modified food, our company has always been responsible for the safety management of imported genetically modified agricultural products with a strict management attitude to the country and the majority of consumers.
