From September 19 to 20, 2024, the Science and Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held the second session of the 2024 GM agricultural product import Safety Management training meeting in Beijing. Our business manager Yao Juntao was invited to attend the training.

      Experts introduced the development of agricultural genetically modified biotechnology technology and safety management situation, safety management policies, safety testing requirements and agricultural genetically modified products import customs clearance regulations and procedures, explained the process and specific requirements of agricultural genetically modified biological safety certificate (import) administrative licensing matters, and exchanged questions and answers for enterprises in the specific process.

      Through this workshop, our company gained a deeper understanding of the significant advantages of genetically modified agricultural products in improving crop yield, reducing disease and insect pests, reducing pesticide use, and the significance of ensuring food security and promoting sustainable agricultural development, and has a clearer understanding of the safety management policy of agricultural genetically modified organisms. We pay more attention to the import safety of agricultural GM products, ensure that our company strictly abide by the standard system of importing GM food in each link, ensure the absolute safety of the quality of our imported agricultural products, and contribute to the food safety management of our country.
