On February 2, 2024, the 8th Beijing Shunyi Zhangzhen Kitchen King Cultural Festival, sponsored by the Government of Zhangzhen, was jointly guided by the Publicity Department of the Shunyi District Committee of the Beijing Municipal People´s Congress, the District Culture and Tourism Bureau, and the District Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Geng Xiaojing, member of the Standing Committee of the Shunyi District Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department, and other District and Zhangzhen leaders attended the opening ceremony. Zhang Bo, leader of the Group, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and launch the 8th Beijing Shunyi Zhangzhen Kitchen King Cultural Festival together with the District and Zhangzhen leaders.

     The theme of t Kitchen King Cultural Festival 2024  is "Leaving the old and welcoming the new, ´kitchen´ blessing the new year in Beijing", aiming to create a "kitchen king" new year cultural brand activity for the public, which integrates intangible cultural heritage experience, traditional cultural performance and creative characteristic market.

    At the ceremony, wonderful shows such as drumming, singing and dancing were staged in turn, making the event very lively. At the opening ceremony, with Minister Geng Xiaojing announcing the official opening of the 8th Beijing Shunyi Zhangzhen Kitchen King Cultural Festival, leaders at the scene jointly started the button. The picture scroll printed with "the official opening of the 8th Beijing Shunyi Zhangzhen Kitchen King Cultural Festival" slowly unfolded, marking the official start of the cultural festival. The Spring Festival creative market and cultural characteristics show began in full swing, bringing the traditional Chinese "Year" cultural experience to the public.
